Digi-Pak

We want to include a digi-pak with our project because it'll make it more proffessional when we are doing the album cover. We want to include pictures of the location we have used and a photoshoot of the girl on the beach, also a a behind the scene photo to give the audience a better insight to what went on during the shoot. It will add more of a tradmark to the album cover and link to the music video.

Lana Del Rey - Born to Die

Lana Del Rey's album cover is very bright with the blue skies and white which keeps a theme throughout the cover. The image of lana is quite a powerful image of Lana. The title of the album 'Born to Die' is very different to what the image is showing and the audience could be unsure what she is trying to show with her album cover. The colour blue and white can represent innocence but with the image of her looking down to the camera creates a different look to the cover, making her seem more in power and doesn't really match the innocence feel. The way she is dressed represents her style of being very vintage and old american and that she is quite high class which comes across in her music.

The back of the cover is very different compared to the front cover, the colour red is very bright and stands out compared to the natural colours on the front. The colour red can symbolise what a lot of her songs are trying to show in her lyrics like 'Born to Die' and 'Dark paradise' and represent love and death which in a lot of lyrics she is showing.

The booklet inside Lana's album shows a very different look to what is on the outside and what the audience see straight away.It has several photos of Lana which is typical for an inside of an album, the picture of her above shows her still looking quite innocent and matches the album cover. Whereas the pages with the song lyrics are very different compared to pictures of her, the blood splats give a different feel to the pages and make you think more about what she is trying to show with her music.
